HE RESPONDS

I ask ALLAH
for intelligible wisdom abound
and HE channels me
proximity with learned men

I ask ALLAH
for a deep insightful spiritual life
and HE endows me
guidance by pious men

I ask ALLAH
for an athletic physical self
and HE bequeaths me
company of sporty men

I ask ALLAH
for sustainable material wealth
and HE confers me
advices of financially savvy men

I ask ALLAH
for emotional strength throughout
and HE provides me
completeness of family life

I ask ALLAH
for everything I want in life
and HE responds to me
every time
with people who assist me
to achieve those things that I want in life.

Twenty-Five Percent

I am only
twenty-five percent
of my objectives
spiritually
intellectually
physiologically
emotionally

I am only
twenty-five percent
of my objectives
the journey is still early
so, onwards I go

confidence and hope.
